- Six months of full-time caregiving training or one year of recent work experience
- English or French language proficiency

Home Child Care Provider & Home Support Worker Pilots
These two Nanny Program pilots run for five years. They allow caregivers and their families to immigrate to Canada with permanent residence as the final goal. Applicants qualify if they have:
- A valid caregiver job offer in Canada, or
